RISMEDIA, 11/03/10 One of the nation’s largest privately owned real estate companies is the latest firm to partner with VScreen for production of customized video content for its website and marketing efforts. Based in the Washington DC area, Long & Foster operates over 200 offices in eight Mid-Atlantic region states, with a sales force of nearly 14,000 agents.

Long & Foster’s desire to provide consumers with professionally produced video content to inform and educate viewers on real estate related issues led to the decision, “With the continued growth of video in the online space, it just makes sense to offer video content for our consumers and our sales associates. Launching the Long & Foster Video Channel supports our commitment to having the best trained/best equipped sales associates in the industry. With this tool, our sales associates can make relevant video information available to their customers with the click of a mouse. This simply elevates the level of service from Long & Foster.”Chief Marketing Officer, Barry Redler. Redler

We will be producing a monthly series of customized “short form” videos on a variety of real estate issues for Long & Foster, as well as providing the firm with its own customized VScreen video player featuring a library of videos covering a broad range of real estate topics.

"For those of you who've been enjoying our YouTube Channel (http://bit.ly/tQdr7), we're noticing that the 'Favorites' section of our site, where we share things we've found online, has become very popular. Our 'Favorites' section (http://bit.ly/60ZvT9) consists of anything and everything that we find of interest on YouTube. Perhaps it's a behind the scenes tour at one of the best New York restaurants, or a documentary on the rise of social media, something concerning forward-thinking architecture, right through to New Yorkers just being New Yorkers.

What we're finding is that we have a lot of different video content now up on our channel, and to make it easier to use, we've organized all of our clips into easy to use 'Playlists'. 'Playlists' collect all of the clips into themes, so now it's easier to browse and watch what you're specifically interested in. We have 8 Playlists right now, ranging from 'Corcoran in the news', to our popular seasons of 'The Scoop' (collected in their entirety for both seasons, stay tuned for Season 3). We even have a 'Future Technologies' playlist where we keep our eye on where things are headed. Our favorite is 'About New York', which has over 70 different clips in it at the moment, but let us know which ones you like."
